Back in 2013, a few of us started meeting with our friend John in Rockford, Illinois, just trying to figure out what it really means to be Jesus’ church. We’re still learning—but it’s been such a life-giving journey.

As we shared what we were discovering, it started to spread—first to friends nearby, then to other states, and even to places like South Africa, Uganda, and China.

And honestly, we’re a pretty diverse group. We’ve seen Jesus bring together homeschooling moms, people in jail, farmers, professionals, professors, students—you name it. All ages too. Kids, young adults, parents, grandparents. You’d fit right in.
